Jackson and Associates Tax & Accounting is a full-service tax and accounting firm based in Thousand Oaks, California. We work with clients throughout the surrounding communities and across the country through secure remote services.

Our goal is pretty simple: help our clients and make their financial lives a little easier. We work with small and medium-sized businesses and their owners on everything from tax preparation and planning to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.

Taxes and accounting aren’t exactly everyone’s idea of a good time (and that’s okay—we actually like it!). We take the time to get to know our clients, answer their questions, and help them understand what is going on with their numbers. Tax Preparation & Representation:

Centering on client needs, we take a proactive approach to tax services by keeping current on new tax laws and legislation.

We provide tax preparation for the following entities: C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, Estates, Trusts, Exempt Organizations, and personal income tax returns that include any and all applicable states.

We provide tax representation for notices and audits in relation to the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing agencies.

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

We assist new start-up businesses with compliance maintenance, assist in inventory setup, general QuickBooks setup, including chart of accounts creation, and general inquiry assistance.

We perform all facets of general accounting processes and clean-up of accounting systems.

We assist clients and staff in all aspects of QuickBooks modules, including reconciling bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks and general chart of accounts set up and maintenance.

We prepare and file annual 1099 forms.

We ensure annual compliance filings, including state secretary of state filings and applicable city business license filings.

We are available for telephone consultation for accounting and QuickBooks inquiries.

Tax Planning:

We offer corporate and personal income tax planning advice in conjunction with periodic review of financial statements.

We offer officer compensation review and analysis to ensure the best tax benefit to the business and to the individuals who own the business.

We offer tax planning for small businesses to ensure all tax advantages are taken.
